I'd like to have given it a higher rating, but the religious themes threw me off a bit.
Otherwise, it was well written and well animated.

The art was amazing and the video chilling.
The constant cross imagery surely has a meaning, and so I will take a stab at it.
A man feels that religion did not help him in his time of need, and gave up his beliefs before taking his own life. But the up at the end of the movie indicates that even though he lost hope and turned away, he would still go to heaven.

I bet I am sooooo wrong about the movie, but whatever.
